How can I memorize information faster?
You can easily memorize information using 3 x 5 cards as flash cards. On one side of your card write a key word on the second side write the definition. Carry your cards wherever you go and memorize them one at a time.
What is a step-by-step way to study and retain information better?
Develop a study plan for each course. Define a specific time you will study and have a goal in mind. For example your first goal might be to complete three chapters and develop a sentence outline of each chapter.
